Babysteps?

Why babysteps?

Hah, ni ceq nak habaq ni. Ceq dah pi Kursus K! Excited!

Ok ok but hold your breathe dulu. No, not yet. The big day is not yet confirmed, neither is our E-day. The reason why we enrolled ourselves for the course is because we want to get some insights on the importance of marriage.  Not wedding. MARRIAGE as that is our main focus. Apart from that, we need this as we thought that by attending the course, it may can 'push' us towards the real thing. Ye ke? We shall see. Insya Allah.

A lot of people went to the course because they wanted to avoid the changes that will be made to the course, a longer one to the extend of it will be during weekdays. I'm not sure of the content of the new syllabus, but a birdie told me it is more on hands-on practices rather than just listening to the talks. But, that's just news. I'm not really sure what's the deal though.

Anyhow, those who are not planning for marriage yet can also attend this course. No harm kan just to listen and learn something from it. Lagipun, it is compulsory for every Muslim to have the course certificate. It is one of the requirement for your marriage registration. So, it's good to get it done fast.

I went with my other half, and few friends. It was actually fun and interesting, not even a regret of having to spend my limited holidays to attend the course. There were lots of enlightening and insightful facts that  most of us are not aware of. Especially on the process of marriage (the registration and preparation) as well as on talak (divorce). It was sad to hear that the divorce rates are increasing among young couples, and many of their reasons are petty and unacceptable.

Other than that, the course focused on stress management, life after 'the wedding', financial planning and sexual relationship between man and wife. I must say, THAT was the most interesting part. We giggled laughed like hooligans of course. The speakers are from various backgrounds and they were seriously funny in delivering the talks. Competent too.

Do i learned anything from attending the course? I did especially on communication between our partner. Right after the course, we reflected on our relationship and questioned ourselves why sometimes it is hard to communicate with each other? Why is it there are still sulking, shouting, sighing, etc? Is it because we are lack of patience? Or understanding? Hah, hang kena pi sana and dengar ape depa nak habaq dalam kursus tu..

All in all, Kursus Kahwin Mont Kiara is definitely worth to go to. The place is clean and the ambience is so relax and chill; it is so easy to find parking especially on Sunday, we can just park straight in front of the building. Food was provided for us; tea on Saturday, breakfast and tea on Sunday. You need to get your own lunch, but I don't think that's like a big deal for any of you since mamak Bestari is just a poop away. Tee hee.

Mr. and I. Insya Allah Amin. Pray for us ya?

Babysteps. For now.

Pretty Little Things

See I told you I will come back and write.

So,friends and family, a girlfriend of mine has set up her business blog just for her 'creative eccentricity' products as well as services on events' decorations such as engagement ceremony, birthday party, bridal shower and many more. Her main forte is desserts table.  Just check her out at Pretty Little Things. The bomb I tell you!

I just love on the things that she put on the dessert table. So delicate and pretty. Every little things on the table is being personally prepared for you. She even made some of the desserts such as cream puffs and brownies. The cream puffs are just to die for! Trust me on that! I could eat a whole box in one go!

Yummy. My tummy is grumbling already and whose fault is that?

The scrumptious chocolate brownies and PLT can also wrap those cute delish brownies in cute ribbons and custom made wrappers.

Little chocolate chunks in cute custom made wrappers. A must have for engagement ceremonies and birthday parties!

There are many more desserts, products such as merchandise for anniversaries, bachelorette nights, birthdays and any other celebrations that you have in mind. PLT can even cater according to your budget, so ladies and gentlemen don't fret if your budget is not that big because PLT's price is reasonable and affordable.

What say you? I'd say, GO FOR IT .... Pretty Little Things

Bungaa

Hello yet again.

Wedding season (more like fever) is back and I was just sitting, thinking.. (more like berangan) and scribbling on a piece of paper of my 'To-do list' for.. my wedding?

My wedding? Ok, let's not go there yet.

The thing is, even though your wedding is  still far far and away, not in the nearest time, it's essential if you to do 'the list' NOW. If you asked your married friends, they would advice the same thing. but why NOW? Don't I have better things to do?

Because in this era, everything is blardy expensive. Tell me about it; the dress, decorations, hantarans and all of the monkeys. Sigh. Unless if you poop money, then you won't be sighing like me.

So, in relation to all of these (I'm refering to the monkeys), I would like to introduce you to Bungaa.

Bungaa? Hah mai sini ceq nak habaq.

Bungaa is a Malay word meaning flowers. So, her forte is playing with flowers. Bukan tanam pokok bunga ye Tuan-tuan and puan-puan. Mainly she specializes in flowers arrangement for weddings, any other events, home decorations and many more. And the best part is ladies and gentlemen, this time we don't have to poop money. It's affordable and 100% guranteed on the quality. Senang citer, bak kata omputih, worth every penny lah. Ramai orang dah orang amik dia. Saya ni bakal la tu. Insya Allah.. Amin.

Here are some of my favourites:

Suwwwiitt kan?

Not just that, they even have gramophone! Hah? Grandma what? Ehehe.. Yes my dear, Bungaa has it all. They have it for rent for decorations purposes, events etc. If you want to have it for picture taking to be put in your brochures, posters and what not, by all means pun boleh jugak! They have vintage camera and books as well. All for rent!

And they decorated these vintage possessions like this:

The bombbb!

Talking about events, there's another event decorator (not really specializing in flowers but all other pretty things) who some of you might be interested. This one pun sama styleeee jugak. (Wait for my next post as I will write about her)

Some people are just born with great hands kan? I'm so proud of you my friends.

So girls, especially to all bride-to-be(s), dilemmamelemma? Bungaa can solve it certainly!

Till the next post y'all!

Bringing Back the Junk(s)

Salam friends. How are you today and the day before yesterday and the day before and so forth?

I've lots of things to write here but can't seem to do it fast because I've so many on my plate right now. The good news is that my stuff in UK that I shipped last year has finally arrived. There are 50 to 60 boxes altogether, but that is inclusive of SheenaDaliaIqa's properties. Banyak sungguh ye tak? Kami ni perghak, memang la semua nak beli. ahahha. No la, the thing is, most of the stuff in the boxes are books, clothes, shoes and bags, academic books and files, kitchenware, ice-cream maker, etc etc. This is akibat rambang mata tak boleh tido nye kind dan tak tahan nafsu serakah di carboot sale, factory outlets, massive sales because it's 10 times cheaper than what it is in Malaysia. Ok, over la tu 10 times cheaper, maybe 5 times cheaper? Still cheap kan? Especially books! I brought back 3 boxes of novels and most of the novels tu I haven't start reading yet! Heaven nye. But the question is.. I got time aahh

Anyway, the process of packing tu went well in Birmingham. It was quite stressful at first, but when we got the hang of it, we were ok. Beli je benda, terus amik kotak, cellotape-kan and labeled. Don't ever delay it, you will tend to forget it and there goes one point to your procrastination habit.

After the packing and labeling was done, we brought the boxes to the warehouse in Smallheath and the guys at the warehouse load the boxes in the container. Siap buat partition lagi wei, sebab tak nak the boxes jatuh hempap kereta. So efficient and fast. It took them not more than 3 hours to do everything in the container; arranged the boxes, built a proper partition so that the boxes won't fall and hit the car, built some sort of penghadang between the tyres of the car so that nanti atas laut kereta tak la gerak-gerak, reversed the car into the container (it looked so challenging!), strapped and hooked the car to the container (same reason as above) and all the necessary stuff. What did I do? Just sit there and observed like a Madame. The only thing I did was to sign some forms for security purposes and watched them shut the door of the container. Phew.

Quite a handful isn't it?

Ok, boring. Til the next post!

Decluttering

I need to re-organize my life. Therefore, the action of deactivation my FB. No no, it's not what you think it is..I am not merajuk or running away from people and such, I just need and want to breathe. Sometimes FB is really 'loud' and I would imagine myself putting both hands on my ears whenever I logged in to my FB.

Seriously, it's not the FB or the people in FB at fault. It is just ME.

I just need to get away for a while.

To think, chill and relax. Muhasabah diri perhaps?

We need to do this once in while right?

Declutter declutter declutter.

I'll be back soon!
