Khurafat

Hello Horror flick lover, please watch Khurafat. To me, it's super scary and the story line is not that bad. If you have watched Mantra and Santau, you will like this film as well, or maybe more. Watched it yesterday with Mr.Z, sempena cuti Thaipusam, and I had a fun time watching Khurafat with a horror flick addict like himself.

Let me put in a nutshell on the synopsis of Khurafat. It begins with Syamsul Yusof (as Johan), a young fella working as a medical assistant in a public hospital in Kuala Lumpur. He's married to Liyana Jasmay (as Aisha) and both of them lead a peaceful life  being married until strange things began to haunt them. Adding to this mystery are the presences of an elderly strange makcik who works in the same hospital as Johan and Ana (played by Sabrina Ali) who is Johan's ex-girlfriend who is depressed over their breakup  attempted to ruin Johan and Aisha's marriage. As for the rest, you just have to watch yourself.

Khurafat is actually a superstitious and supernatural belief fabricated according to the acts and natural events that occur, which is strongly forbidden in Islam.

This is certainly a great job by Syamsul Yusof, which I heard that this is his first ever  horror movie directed by him. When it comes to the suspence scenes, I actually felt it, bulu semua naik dowh. Maybe some of the actors and actresses need to improve on their acting, certainly not Liyana Jasmay and Fauziah Nawi, as they are already fine in that area. So, it can be concluded that this film are worth watching in the cinema and soon I bet it will be in Astro First. LOL. Anyway, let's support our film industries, you might never know, they are better than any Super-lywood. This is better than 'The Tourist', obviously. Yawn.

Hupdates!

Hey everyone! It's been a while I know, but right now, there are so many things on my plate and the internet connection in my house kinda suck, so it's really hard for me to update my blog regularly like before. But I have lots and lots to share, mainly on:

1. My trip to Rome with good friend Sheena and her mommy.
2. My trip to Istanbul with housemates Dalia and Zanif as well as my sister's beloved Fizan.
3. The process of packing and shipping off all my junks back in Birmingham.
4. My graduation ceremony!
5. My boxing day experience in London with good friends Dils, Leen and Amz

and many more laaa. Aku semangat ni nak tulis!

Anyway, many peers are getting married this year and no, I'm not pressured or anything, in fact, I am inspired and are also thinking of heading that way. But, no work no money NO TALK ok?

So far, 2011 has been great. Positive energy, new ideas, new friends and MORE quality ones. I really need to pilih bulu on who I want to be friends with starting from today la as I had enough of dramarama that was around me in 2010. Good riddance!

Happy Friday EVE! Ahahaha!

I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M ACTUALLY AT HOME!
